This glass Kipp’s apparatus, or Kipp’s generator, is a piece of lab-ware for preparing small amounts of gases, such as carbon dioxide. It is comprised of 3 chambers orientated vertically, with a stopcock situated near the top of the middle chamber so that gas can be released into the desired lab equipment.
